THE WHY + some history

I created Sacred Moon Rituals in November 2020 after I got home from a family gathering. I wanted to manifest Love. Plainly simple. I wanted to do a special spell-work where I didn't just craft an enchanted candle and leave it to burn open and through my intentions, but to create a space where I dived into daily healing, connection and activities to further align with my intentions. I wanted to explore the parts of myself that may have sabotaged or hindered my growth and attraction to Love and also accept and appreciate the parts of myself that helped keep me on the positive track. I wanted to uncover the subconscious layers of my Heart and Mind so when the enchanted candle, and ritual, were done, I had a new understanding of who I was and what I wanted to truly call into my life, especially as it pertained to Love.

So I created the Love Spell Group Ritual, of the Dark Womb Series. More on the latter in another blogpost. 

Once I ironed out all the possibilities and details, and created the space, I asked my Instagram followers if they were interested in joining. In no time, 9 beautiful divine souls, showed up ready to align with, and manifest, Love.

It was beautiful. Til this day, I can still taste the red roses and smell the sweet honey attraction rites and spells. For 7 days, we traveled deeper and deeper into our bare spirits. I curated a week of activities that ranged from writing prompts to movement healing, things like gratitude letters and root chakra yoga + dance healing. Everyday corresponded with a planet, everyday was a new energy to uncover and integrate. I crafted our Enchanted Candle and lead the candle lighting until the candle went out on its own. The Ritual was a mix of pure magic and metaphysical healing, taking place in the 3D. Taking place in a safe space, taking place in the privacy of our hearts and homes.

THE WHAT

According to google-dictionary, Rituals are defined as "a religious or solemn ceremony consisting of a series of actions performed according to a prescribed order". Our rituals are covered in intentionality and clarity, we use ancient and new-age knowledge to heal, and we connect to angels and spirit guides alike. Rituals help us stay the course of our manifestations, clear away what doesn't serve our higher selves and to calibrate our pure spirits. Rituals are a blessing to hold, and to be apart of. In some way, shape or form, we all participate in rituals. Wedding ceremonies can be considered a ritual, as well as rites of passage for certain ages or initiations in spirituality, like baptisms. Rituals are as ancient as they are as new, so being able to create and be apart of a space that honors that truth is most healing, more than one can imagine.  

Sacred Moon Rituals are a hands-on, divine integration and healing adventure that corresponds with the monthly moon. We spend about 7 days in virtual communication, sharing intuitive insights, ideas and energy as we unpack our pain and joys for self awareness and clarity. You'll need a notebook and pen, for sure. Maybe even some colored pencils and crayons. Everyday calls to a new energy so the tasks are new daily. There isn't any rush to complete them, sometimes they take time and sometimes they'll resonate and sometimes they won't. We're here to activate our space of soul healing, we're taking what we know and what we've learned and integrating the lesson, learning how to continuously do so and living in our newfound truth. A very revealing work.

THE WHEN, THE WHERE + THE HOW

Rituals begin on Sunday. I love Sunday, it's the true first day of the week. In past rituals, the New Moon fell on Sunday. Perfect alignment if you ask me. So this was initially called New Moon Rituals, but not every new moon falls on a Sunday (and of course Aquarius season would remind us of that), so here we are. February's ritual begins on Sunday, February 7th, but the New Moon isn't until the 11th, which is a Thursday. There is a magic about the Moon, more so because it is a cosmic body, that the effects of a particular moon phase can be felt days before and days after its culmination. Energy is energy and as the host and with the power we are bringing together, we are pulling moon magic from every corner no matter the phase.  

We meet on Instagram, in private direct messaging (for now!). There we are able to send and receive messages at a quick speed. I also like to post in the Close Friends story feature, only those in the ritual are able to see.

A working email is necessary, too! We'll be sending our peitions, or what I like to call Letters of Intent, to be dressed along with the Enchanted Candle. Those are our two main, digital ways of communicating. Over the course of the ritual we will be using them daily and frequently.

AND LASTLY, THE WHO

Sacred Moon Rituals are for earthly spirits interested in embarking on a journey back to the sovereign, pure soul. The healing we unravel shows us new ways to Be, to love, to align and to dream. We open portals deep within us, some of which we never knew we had, portals that show us our true face, both in our ancestral connections and in our progressive self-discoveries.

These rituals aren't for lighthearted beings, who scratch surfaces and are satisfied with the crumbs we were told was enough. They are for the beings who love self-development and elevation, who enjoy talks about heart healing and dream analysis. The beings who know that in order to help this world move into a new paradigm, one must first look in the mirror; hold oneself accountable and responsible for ones healing.
